How Our Product Started

We are an Illinois Corporation with over 17 years of Mold remediation experience working with our state-of-the-art treatment process and a 100% environmentally clean product both which are EPA-certified. Our Objective Has Been, Is and Will Remain to be an Environmentally Clean Company dedicated to improving and protecting people’s health through safe, clean, natural, and GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) products. We were inspired by three issues that deeply impacted our founder, and those issues still drive our work today.

The first issue was the prevalence of respiratory issues among young people. Our founder's own family was impacted by mold-related respiratory issues, and this experience drove him to want to make a difference. He saw that mold remediation was often out of reach for many families due to its high cost, that it was often not done properly, and that insurance companies do not pay for it. This left families vulnerable to ongoing health risks.

The second issue was the high cost of mold remediation. Our founder knew that there had to be a more cost-effective solution for families and individuals who were dealing with mold issues. He wanted to make sure that everyone had access to the help they needed to stay safe and healthy in their homes.

Finally, our founder was passionate about using clean products to improve our environment. He saw that many mold remediation companies were using harsh chemicals that were not only harmful to people but also to the environment.

Additionally, the time and inconvenience of the process was insufferable. He knew that there had to be a better way, and he set out to create a company that would prioritize the use of safe and effective cleaning products.

Today, our business is proud to provide affordable, high-quality mold remediation service(s) with a 100% natural product that is safe for people and the environment and does the job in most instances in a matter of hours (generally no more than two days while you are on the property). We are committed to continuing our founder's mission of caring for families and improving our community, one mold remediation project at a time.

2003-2012

Perfecting The Science

In 2003, I founded K Square with a mission to provide a cost-effective and eco-friendly mold removal solution. Frustrated by the existing methods, I set out to create a better way. Today, we're proud to offer innovative, sustainable solutions that are better for our clients and the environment. Several investments in research along with corporate and governmental trials sharpened our determination.

Our objective has always been to help create safer, healthier environments at affordable prices. Developing a process to compliment our product in a market space that thrives on higher prices and costly procedures made our unique method seem unbelievable. With years of dedication to research, experience, and testing; our passion for serving our clients propelled us to venture into the environmental remediation space.

What started as a small mold remediation company in 2003, we have now grown to serve commercial clients in strategic areas around the country. Our focus on research and development along with obtaining governmental approvals and particular certifications has allowed us to provide top-notch services and expand our reach.
